OE-32

OE 32 from 1984 is sold by the third owner. A well-maintained and updated boat with a very stable hull, good sailing characteristics and really good comfort on board.

OE 32 was designed by Olle Enderlein in 1971. The idea behind the design was to create a high-quality long-distance sailor that, in addition to its practical functions, is also beautiful to look at. The design succeeded and the OE 32 became one of the most built boats in the OE class with around 200 examples.

In total, the boat has 5/6 berths including the sofas in the saloon where the backrests can be moved to create full-size berths. The floor plan is classic with a pilot berth directly starboard of the entrance and the L-shaped galley to port. In front of the saloon there is room for the toilet and further forward you enter the v-berth cabin with an amble double berth. The cockpit is spacious and safe . The interior of this boat is of a high standard with mahogany woodwork.

This example has been updated and maintained well over the years. Among other things, in 2021 the boat has been equipped with a powerful Bukh engine of 24 hp for smooth propulsion on windless days as well as to be able to make good progress through rough seas and strong winds. Furthermore, the boat has been supplemented with newer instruments such as VHF with DSC, AIS and new navigating light. The boat has been fitted with a cutter stay and an Aries wind steering system. The hull has been cleaned down to bare GRP and built up with new epoxy primer and antifouling. All though hull valves have been replaced. See the PDF above for a complete equipment list.

The rig has most recently been inspected by a rigger and the top stays have been replaced. There are steps in the mast that make it easy to inspect the mast and rigging during the voyage.
