Faurby 396 - "Jesper Bank Edition", actually his very own, optimized for comfort and sailing performance.

The Faurby 396 was designed and built with focus on weight optimization and speed equipped with a carbon fiber mast and boom and a very efficient torpedo keel and deep rudder, which results in a boat in excellent balance and very easy to maneuver in almost any condition.

The engine on this boat was in 2023 swapped for a new Volvo-Penta D1 with 29 horsepower.

The accommodation is no compromise and is made of the finest teak with no expense spared, where everything is made according to the best craftsmanship traditions of the notorious Faurby Yard.

The boat has been looked after and cared for by its previous and present owner and vital upgrades have lately been made to safety, wiring and instrumentation of the boat.

This boat has had the freeboard mildly sanded and polished having added a blue color trimline, which further adds to its sporty yet classic looks.

The bottom has been cleaned and 2 extra layers of primer applied before new two color antifouling (one per layer) has been added.

The interior is made of beautiful matt varnished teak veneer and she is designed as a 2-cabin layout with a closed aft cabin on the port side and a closed toilet and shower area aft on the starboard side. A well-arranged pantry and spacious saloon, as well as a closed cabin with a double berth in the bow. Cushions are of exclusive beige Alcantara. All floors have been revarnished and look as if new.

As can be seen from the equipment list, the boat is continuously updated, and many investments have been made in recent years.
